RRR Firearms Instruction is offering the AK Concealed Handgun Permit Course to include your Exempt Card from 6 PM – 9:30 PM Friday, May 30 & 9 AM – 4 PM Saturday, May 31. Cost is $180 and advanced registration is required. This is not a beginner “learn how to shoot” course so you must be familiar with your firearm and have shot at least 50 rounds within 30 days of the course.
As most participants are very concerned with safety in their home, the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course material is included. During the range portion of the course, the participants will fire a few warm-up drills prior to firing the course requirement for the handgun permit. The state requires the participants to fire 10 rounds at a silhouette target at 7 yards –hitting the target at least 7 times and then again at 15 yards where they must hit at least 6 out of 10 shots. These 20 shots are required for the AK permit.
