This is an older Sig P229 that came with a 40 S&W barrel. I purchased a .357 Sig barrel for it and then years later I purchased a complete slide with a 9mm barrel. So, this gun will run on three different cartridges. I set it up this way so that during times of low ammunition availability I would be more likely to find something I could shoot. Also, with this gun you can train with cheaper 9mm ammo and then switch to the more powerful .357 Sig for self-defense. Included along with the 3 barrels and two slides are three magazines that work with 40 S&W and .357 Sig and two that handle the 9mm cartridges. The pistol has an aftermarket set of Hogue G10 grips.
